Take advantage of your youthfulness to do God's work,Bishop Kamau tells youth.By Wachira Njenge

Archdiocese of Nairobi Auxillary Bishop His Lordship David Kamau has asked young people within the church and across the nation to make good use of their youthfulness in order to serve God and the church.
"When you are young you have the energy to do a lot of things but you need to be guided by God's spirit," said His Lordship David Kamau.

He spoke during mass at Regina Caeli Catholic Parish Karen where the Archdiocese of Nairobi Music and Culture Festivals were held this past weekend.

 His Lordship Bishop Kamau called upon the youth to utilize their talents in a positive way, he said the Catholic church has put in place various measures to help young people to discover themselves and events such the music and culture festivals.
Youths drawn from various deaneries and regions within the Archdiocese of Nairobi listen attentively to the homily.

Trophies and Certificates donated by the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of State for National  Heritage and Culture.

While making his speech on behalf on the Government of Kenya, a Ministry of State for National Heritage and Culture, Mr Mboya said, "that the government is working towards empowering the youth in the entertainment and arts industry by encouraging to use their talents as a source of earning income."
The government will soon embark on a plan to incorporate items presented during music and cultural festivals organised by the church to the Kenya National Drama and Music Festivals that way artists will have a platform to showcase their work to a much larger audience and larger market.

Mr.Mboya from the Ministry of State for National Heritage and Culture delivers his speech on behalf of the government.
He also called upon the youth to take advantage of the digital migration experience that the country is currently undergoing in building content for digital broadcast.
While quoting Article 11 of the Constitution of Kenya he urged the youth to embrace the traditional values and value system in yearning to be come responsible and reasonable members of the society.
